Snooki Wanted Babies And Marriage At 26

Snooki officially has a baby onboard! The "Jersey Shore" star confirmed Wednesday (March 7) that she is expecting her first child and is set to walk down the aisle with fiancé Jionni LaValle.

Snooki and Jionni told Us Weekly that they found out they were expecting right after New Year's. And when MTV News sat down with Snooki on January 4, it was obvious she had babies on the brain.

"I want [babies and marriage] when I'm 26," said Snooki, who is 24 years old. "I'm just warning [Jionni]: two years. I'm just putting it out there, just letting him know."

Snooki and LaValle, who have been dating for a year and a half, have had their ups and downs play out on "Jersey Shore," including their struggle with a long-distance relationship during season four in Florence, Italy.

"It sucked," Snooki said back in August. "From being with him six months every single day to not being with him, being in another country and not talking to him, it was hard. It was legit like a long-distance relationship."

Despite their hardships, Snooki was certain he was the one. "As of right now, we're together and in love, and we're getting married someday," Snooki said.

Bringing their love back to Jersey for season five, Snooki was thrilled for the fans to see the better side of their blossoming love.

"I'm actually really excited for the fans to see me and Jionni, because they only saw us once and that was in Italy and that was just a horrible time," Snooki said in January. "Just to have us have fun together and just have fun with the roommates, I'm really excited for that."

The couple will now be busy spending the next few months planning for a baby and a wedding, all while filming Snooki's spin-off with "Shore" bestie JWoww.

"I think I'm really most excited about just showing not the party side of us, but just like us being sober and being best friends and showing our relationship in a different light," Snooki said of the upcoming series. "Just doing sh-- that we never really do."
