A 49-year-old Madison man contacted the Madison Police Department on Monday morning wanting to report a mugging that took place around 1 a.m. on Saturday, May 5.
The victim said he was walking on Hauk Street when he was pushed down from behind and kicked by two men.
He told police that he believes he was knocked out by one of the kicks.?When he regained consciousness, he discovered money was missing from his wallet.
The men are each described as black, between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall and between 30 and 40-years-old. Each was wearing a black hooded-sweatshirt.
