Director, Talent Acquisition - IMG College Human Resources (Atlanta, GA)


BASIC FUNCTIONS:
The Director, Talent Acquisition has overall responsibility for managing the national recruitment efforts for IMG College. This key staff member will manage the Talent Acquisition function for College with a particular emphasis on attracting and selecting the best talent across our enterprise which includes upwards of 100 offices and 80 University partners across the US. As a functional leader in the company, it will be critical that the selected candidate is well versed in providing insightful management reports, track applicants in a compliant and effective manner while being a hands on leader directly handling management and upper management recruiting engagements.

This position reports to the VP ? Head of Human Resources for IMG College and is responsible for fulfilling staffing needs as we continue to expand our business. Staffing responsibilities include managing the full breadth of our open positions, creating effective processes to fill positions in a fast paced environment while ensuring that the selections we make are high caliber talent that fit our roles and culture. Additionally, the Talent Acquisition leader will create an environment of business partnership, employment marketplace insights and interviewing and recruiting best practices for our senior leadership and hiring managers.


SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Develop and manage the recruiting process for IMG College including position tracking, metrics market insights and the efficient and effective filling of open roles.
  • Leadership in the area of proactive communication with regard to status of all openings. Provide detailed status on key openings for roles including creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill positions. Clear articulation of our vision for recruiting and our plan to execute on that vision.
  • Establish our approach to the employment marketplace, specifically the use of social media, posting boards, agencies, alumni associations and other creative sourcing approaches. Manages external vendors, including social networking and job board providers.
  • Develop a diversity recruiting strategy that results in the enhancement of diversity in our workforce.?
  • Create an approach for database management of candidates and their skill sets in order to reduce time to fill on key roles. Create and maintain an active pipeline of candidates for roles that we most heavily recruit for.
  • Devise focused recruitment strategies for key recruiting engagements aligning approaches with hiring managers and business leaders.
  • Participates in workforce planning discussion in order to plan for upcoming staffing initiatives.
  • Educates managers and employees on proper recruiting and interviewing techniques, and standards throughout the business.
  • Creates value-added tools for management that enables them to better understand, track, and manage staffing needs.
  • Positively impacts employee retention by ensuring that the right candidates are hired into our jobs. Work with a combination of speed and insight.


BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 8 years experience in a corporate recruiting function with at least 3 of those years managing the Talent Acquisition function. Direct staff management is required.
  • Direct experience (a minimum of 3 years) in personally handling senior level hiring engagements. Experience in leading executive level hiring and search engagements is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in developing a staffing function including all aspects of management reporting, compliance, interview training and process development.
  • Established achievement in reducing time to fill while enhancing quality of hires. Must be able to support achievements in this area with key metrics.
  • Equally skilled in creating and managing a high volume recruiting function and providing a thorough approach on senior level openings
  • Proven ability in developing an effective diversity recruiting strategy.
  • Direct experience in managing senior and executive level hiring engagements with the ability to operate among senior executive levels.
  • Experience with creating recruiting processes that have had a real impact on the business. Must be able to implement effective hiring strategies and intelligently translate the value add to the business.
  • Excellent computer skills including knowledge of cutting edge software products relevant to the talent acquisition space (applicant tracking and reporting tools).
  • Experience in a Media, Sports or Entertainment company is strongly preferred.
