?Another of those contacts from this year?s Game Developers Conference has paid off in spades! For those of you not familiar, GDC is a conference focused on and around, you guessed it, game developers. Not so much for media, the public?or military gaming charities looking for handout for the troops. Turns out the small indie motion tracking studio or four-man Android app development team don?t exactly have a lot of product to ship to the Armed Forces.

We did however run into Havok?on the floor. You may not think you know Havok and what they provide, but if you look at the logo, if you?ve ever played a video game, you?re probably familiar with their logo on the startup splash screen. Ever hear of The Last of Us, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 or Battlefield 3? All three have Havoc engines in them in some capacity or another. So swinging by the booth there, Havok?s PR team was interested in getting involved with Operation Supply Drop, but they weren?t sure how they could help.

Flash forward a few months, and Havok comes out of left field with the makings of a full supply drop delivered to our door. They even had a series of Havok t-shirts printed especially for the guys downrange to commemorate their support! Pretty swanky! Also, a big shout out to EA who donated the games to Havok to send to us, which allowed them to donate the Xbox and controllers!
